A memorable evening comes to Santa Rosa on October 22nd when our Distinguished Citizen Dinner will honor and celebrate Marilyn and Henry Hansel. The Hansels are prominent business, philanthropic, and community leaders in Sonoma County and well beyond.

The Redwood Empire Service Area will fete Marilyn and Henry Hansel as our 2025 Distinguished Citizens. The evening starts with a reception at 5:00 pm, followed by dinner and a recognition program celebrating the Hansels’ legacy of leadership and service. Wild Oak Saddle Club is a charming private social club adjacent to a Valley of the Moon polo field.

Among the Hansels’ community contributions: A $10 million gift to Providence Santa Rosa Memorial Hospital for the creation of the Hansel Family Care Center; leadership in the post-firestorms Rebuild North Bay; sponsorship of the Marilyn & Henry Hansel Family Resource Center at Children’s Museum of Sonoma County; and major donations to the Green Music Center at Sonoma State University.
